Cancellations within 24 hours of booking are without penalty, cancellations after 24 hours of booking, up to 10 days prior to the arrival date result in a $15 processing fee, and all cancellations within 10 days of the reservation’s arrival date will result in forfeiting the first night’s deposit.

The cabin is a primitive camping experience, so please be prepared to bring any items you would need for camping: linens, cookware, utensils, etc. A queen bed, queen futon, fridge, electric skillet, and coffee pot are provided, as well as a table and chairs for four, and full bathroom are provided.
There are picnic tables and fire rings located at each campsite. Please do not move any of the tables or fire rings. Only charcoal or wood should be burned in the fire ring and campfires are not to exceed one foot high.
Pets are permitted on the property, but not in any buildings, including the bathhouses, pavilions, or cabin. All pets must be quiet and well behaved and must not disturb or pose a danger to other guests. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6’ at all times. You must clean up after your pet at all times.
Please clean your site of any pet messes prior to departure. If your pet is outside, you must be outside with your pet. If you leave the campground for the day, you must ensure your pets have water and food. Do not leave your pet in an RV that is not air conditioned. Pets are not to be left outside when you are not at your campsite. A copy of our animal waiver can be found here.
There are multiple types of sites: tenting sites, partial (water & electric) hook-up back in sites, and rustic sites. We permit one family and one camping unit/vehicle per site. An additional tent for minor dependents (under age 18) will be permitted with prior approval from the manager. Guests are expected to leave their site clean and ready for the next camper. A $25 clean up fee will be charged for sites left with trash or debris.
Check-in for campsites and cabins is after 2 PM. Check-out is at 12 PM. If looking for early check in/late check out, please call and check with the manager for your site’s availability
Quiet hours are from 10 PM – 8 AM. Generators over 75dB, diesel engines, ATV/ORV use, or bright exterior lighting may not operate during the quiet hours. In addition to quiet hours; No loud music, excessive noise, or disorderly conduct will be tolerated at any time.

Alcoholic beverages are permitted only at your site, for those who are 21 years of age or older.
We do not currently accept any discounts.
Checks are not accepted for payment. All payments must be made with a credit card.

Day guests visiting Sunrise Lake Family Campground are authorized to visit registered campers between the hours of 8 AM – 10 PM. Day guests will have access to all activities including the bathhouses and beach area.
Lake: Our campground has beach access on a recreational lake. Swimming or any other use of the lake is at your own risk. Fishing away from the swimming area is permitted with a valid fishing license. A DNR boat launch is located near the entrance drive.
Neighbors: we do have neighbors whose property is directly adjacent of the campground. Please be respectful of the property boundaries.
Pond: There is a pond located near the campsites. Campers are welcome to explore the area surrounding it but at their own risk.
There is a two, four person tent maximum with no more than eight people per site. If you have more than two, four person tents or more than eight people, you will need to book and pay for an additional site.
Guests are permitted to decorate the exterior of their campsite or cabin with items such as lights, small lawn ornaments, and sports flags. Stakes may be used in campsite areas but must be removed on departure.
Fireworks such as smoke bombs, aerials, firecrackers, explosives, firearms, or weapons of any kind are not permitted. Sparklers are allowed if disposed of properly.
Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas, but prohibited in cabins, buildings, restrooms, and the beach area.
Campers are responsible for securing their personal property, including, but not limited to, their campers and contents, vehicles, tents, or any other personal property. The campground, its owner, agents, and employees are not responsible or liable for theft or loss of any kind, nor damage caused by acts of God, fires, floods, windstorms, explosions, lightning strikes, accidents, or vandalism. Campers are responsible for maintaining insurance on their campers, vehicles, and personal property. If you return home and realize you have left or lost something at Sunrise Lake Family Campground, please contact the manager.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, Sunrise Lake Family Campground strictly prohibits the operation of or use of any unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as “Drones,” on, from, or above the Sunrise Lakw Family Campground premises without specific written permission from the campground manager. This includes all UAVs regardless of size, weight, or purpose.
We do not have propane on site and recommend bringing your own, if needed.
The speed limit throughout the parks is 5 MPH and must be obeyed at all times. All electronically/battery powered vehicles/toys must have adult supervision. Use only permitted in non-congested areas. Obey the 5 MPH speed limit and for safety reasons, no bikes, roller blades, scooters, power wheels, etc. after dark.
Electric Vehicle (EV) charging is not available at Sunrise Lake Family Campground.
Modest dress is expected of all guests. We are a family friendly campground and ask that our guests be mindful of those around them. Sunrise Lake Family Campground reserves the right to address any issues with guests.
